Raise SMART Kids through Creative Synergies of Music & Art!
The history of MusiKinder ArtSkool can be traced back to the establishment of the MusiKinder Ensemble founded by Mr & Mrs James Yap after their return in 1996 from their music studies in Germany.
“Each of us (even for adults) has a musical child right inside us that constantly seeks to express and enjoy ourselves via music-listening, music-making and all other constructive music related activities. Hence the derivation of the Ensemble’s name – MusiKinder (a German compound word of both Musik + Kinder = Music Kids in English).
From the perspective of a music educator, we believe that – each child should be given every opportunity to discover and develop his / her musicality through proper guidance, creative adventure, true inspiration and extensive exposure.”
