ABRSM Diploma Syllabus

Grade 8 -> ARSM or DipABRSM (Diploma at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) -> LRSM (Licentiate of the Royal Schools of music) ->FRSM (Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music)

 

 

Overview:

  • Instrumental & vocal performances.
  • Are conducted in English, 2 examines
  • Before enter for exam, you must fulfill a specific ABRSM prerequisite.
  • Each of level of Diploma Comprise a number of requirements.
  • The requirement is divided into 2 sections.
  • You must pass all the requirements of both sections in order for your diploma to be awarded (The requirements must be met in full within 3 years.

Exam requirement:

Section 1

  • Instrumental or Vocal Recital

 

Section 2

2.1

  • Viva Voce, entailing a discussion with the examines
  • A written assignment

-Diploma LRSM- Programs notes

-FRSM- written submission

 

2.2

  • Quick Study
  • Performance of a short pieces of unaccompanied & previously unseen music
